The
Jungle Lodge Alang Sedayu was built like a Malay House, is located in a
lush, green valley on five-and-an-half acres of land beside a primary
forest reserve and surrounded by natural attractions. A cool, clear
jungle stream runs alongside and there is a well-stocked fish pond on
the grounds. Over 40 varieties of fruit trees surround the lodge.
The
lodge, a distinctive timber building, is just 45 minutes soft trek away
from the Sungai Pisang watrefall and have several trails leading into
the forest canopy. The famous trek is the river and jungle trail to the
Sungai Pisang waterfall, the Wild Boar trail, and the World War 2
Bunkers' trail.
The Jungle Lodge is located on a little over two hectares immediately adjacent
to pristine forests.
Forest
trails enable visitors to explore these ancient forests and jungle streams.
Facilities at the centre enable a range of activities from formal
studies to co-curricular, team building and social/recreational pursuits.
